Eindhoven-based Euclyd has secured a Series A financing round of more than 200 million euros to accelerate the work on its semiconductor and data center technology for AI inference. The funding will be used to expand engineering, advance silicon and systems development and prepare for commercial deployment. Former ASML CEO Peter Wennink has joined the company as chairman of the board.
Founded by Silicon Hive veterans Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Euclyd aims to improve the efficiency of foundation model inference by combining custom AI processors, memory architecture and data center-level optimization. The company argues that growing AI models are increasingly constrained by power consumption, memory bandwidth and infrastructure costs, making efficiency a critical differentiator.

Euclyd’s roadmap includes Craftwerk, which it describes as the world’s first agentic AI silicon, and the Craftwerk Station (CWS), an exascale AI system designed to minimize power consumption. The platform integrates programmable ASIC compute, processor-memory co-design and system-level optimization to overcome the memory and efficiency walls limiting AI performance and scalability.
The round was co-led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT and Innovation Industries, with participation from EIFO, Imec.xpand, the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and Quadri. The financing ranks among the largest early-stage investments in a European AI hardware company. With the backing, Euclyd is positioning itself to compete in enterprise, sovereign and hyperscale AI markets.
