Sioux Technologies has fully acquired its software branch in Cluj-Napoca. The Eindhoven-based systems house had already been a partial shareholder since the Romanian company was founded in 2018. Over time, the collaboration and integration steadily intensified, Sioux says, with the organization already transitioning from Qubiz Software Services SRL to Sioux Technologies SRL back in 2024.
The Romanian branch works on software projects for sectors including the chip industry, medical technology and the analytics market. The team contributes to the complex systems that Sioux builds and delivers for international high-tech companies and OEMs. The plan is to further expand the development team in Cluj-Napoca in the coming years, growing the technology group’s international engineering capacity. “Our teams can now collaborate even more closely, move faster and invest in the future with greater focus,” comments Ron Willems, Sioux’s software director for Europe.
