AI-driven pest control from Delft catches €2.7M
Delft University of Technology spinoff Pats has raised 2.7 million euros to further develop its AI-driven pest monitoring and control systems and roll them out worldwide. The solutions replace insecticides with smart technology, contributing to sustainability goals in crop protection. The funding round was supported by Division Q, Percival Participations and Delft Enterprises.

From its facilities in Delft, Pats can supply more than a thousand sensors that detect flying insects in real time every month. With this data, the company can provide targeted advice on pest control. As a result, chemical intervention can be tailored to practice. “By turning real-time pest data into targeted advice, we support biological strategies and help growers act earlier, smarter and more sustainably,” says CEO and co-founder Bram Tijmons.
