Based in Broek in Waterland near Amsterdam, Deltaproto has opened a second location, at Kennispark Twente in Enschede. The company offers prototyping services for printed circuit board assemblies, enabling real-life testing in the early stages of development. Oost NL supported the expansion. The new site is located within the facilities of the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Twente.

“Over the past few years, we’ve grown significantly,” explains Deltaproto CTO Michiel Wanninkhof. “Now it’s time for the next step. Twente is a hub for research and development in electronics and mechatronics, making it a logical choice for a new support and production location.”

“Companies designing and manufacturing complex systems often struggle with prototyping PCBAs,” adds Oost NL’s Gerrald Korenromp. “Traditional manufacturers focus on series production, which leads to high startup costs. Deltaproto’s solution aligns better with a flexible and iterative way of working, bridging the gap between R&D and series production.”
