Managing director Hans van de Mortel has relinquished ownership of Metafas Group, the Noord-Brabant-based specialist in printed electronics and user interfaces (link in Dutch). The new owner and CEO is entrepreneur Luc van Neer. In addition, Applied Micro Electronics (AME) co-founder Steven Romme, investor and financial advisor Govert Eijsvoogel and Eindhoven Engine managing director Katja Pahnke will join Metafas’ advisory board. Romme and Eijsvoogel are minority shareholders.

“Metafas is a great, innovative company where the craftsmanship of screen printing technology and mechanical operations meets modern technologies such as printed electronics and user interfaces. I’m looking forward to building upon the knowledge and the experience of the employees, the advisory board and myself, to further expand the Metafas Group,” commented Van Neer.
