Nearfield crosses Atlantic after signing US customer
The Rotterdam-based startup benefits from the adoption of hybrid bonding across the semiconductor industry.
Following a “multiple-system order” from a US customer, Dutch semiconductor metrology equipment manufacturer Nearfield Instruments has announced the establishment of a subsidiary on the North American continent. The expansion involves opening several locations throughout the year, serving as hubs for customer support, collaborative innovation and supply operations.
“The semiconductor industry is evolving rapidly and our technology enables our customers to push the boundaries of what’s possible with next-generation chip production. We’re pleased that we now have a commercial and operational presence on all semiconductor-relevant continents,” comments Nearfield CEO Hamed Sadeghian.
