Vinci Energies acquires Koning & Hartman

The French energy and IT services provider, Vinci Energies, has acquired Koning & Hartman, a Dutch company specialized in communication networks. Financial details have not been disclosed. The acquisition strengthens Vinci’s portfolio in the information and communication technologies and industry sectors.

Founded more than 120 years ago, Koning & Hartman played a pioneering role in the telecom industry and its infrastructure, installing control systems and providing data communication services. The company now specializes in custom telecommunication solutions for industry and critical communication networks. These customer-specific solutions are supplied mainly to industry customers and telecom operators, as well as to organizations in the healthcare, public order and public transport sectors. With some 320 employees in the Netherlands and Belgium, Koning & Hartman achieved a turnover of 66 million euros in 2018.

Vinci Energies serves the Dutch market from four business lines: Infrastructure, Industry, Service Sector and ICT. Within these, the company has labeled specializations and expertise under the network brand names Actemium, Axians, Omexom en Vinci Facilities. The common denominator between the business units is that they all provide advice, design, optimization, innovation and maintenance of processes.
