Xiver secures €28M for production expansion

Eindhoven-based Xiver has secured 28 million euros in senior debt financing from ABN Amro as part of a 55-million-euro investment program. The company will upgrade its facilities and equipment to expand production capacity and technological capabilities. The investments include an ASML DUV lithography system.

“We can now accelerate the further expansion of our position within the European semiconductor and photonics ecosystem. Demand for our products and services is being driven by major global developments in AI, defense and the semiconductor industry as a whole,” comments Cees Meeuwis, founder and lead investor of Xiver.

Carved out from Philips, Xiver develops and manufactures integrated photonic chips, infrared sensors, medical imaging technologies and advanced thin-film products.
