ASML executive vice president Jos Benschop has joined TNO’s supervisory board, succeeding Peter van Laarhoven as of 1 October. Benschop has worked with the Dutch research organization for around thirty years, commissioning research projects through ASML. He’s also served on TNO Industry’s Strategic Advisory Council.

Benschop holds a doctorate in physics and gained research and management experience at Philips and ASML. He also holds supervisory and advisory positions at Siltronic, Cymer Light Source Technology and NanolabNL. His previous roles include membership of the Dutch Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (AWTI).
