Bits&Chips talks to Gerrit Muller (part 4)
In a series of five interviews with Bits&Chips (in Dutch), systems architecting guru Gerrit Muller shares his views on systems thinking, the Dutch way.
Physicist Gerrit Muller started his career in software development and grew into a prominent systems architect in the Netherlands. René Raaijmakers sat down with him to pick his brain.
In this episode, Muller talks about the division between practice and theory in education, which he thinks is out of control. He experienced in Norway how things can be done better, but even there, universities fail to understand how to organize education so that students are better prepared for practice and how to turn them into better systems thinkers.
