Magics secures another €4M for its radiation-hardened IC designs
Flemish IC design firm Magics has successfully completed the second closing of its capital round, adding 4 million euros to the 5.7 million it raised earlier this year. This brings the total to 9.7 million euros, earmarked for scaling production of the company’s radiation-tolerant semiconductor technologies and accelerating international growth, with a strategic focus on North America and Asia. The new round was led by SC One and PMV, with strong follow-on participation from KU Leuven Research & Development (LRD), Gemma Frisius Fund (GFF), Invest for Jobs (IFJ), the Belgian Nuclear Research Center (SCK CEN) and the company founders.

Using standard CMOS processes, Geel-based Magics develops ICs that are radiation-hardened by design. It delivers high-reliability performance for the world’s most demanding environments, including space, nuclear and fusion applications. With full in-house design capabilities and a growing portfolio of validated components and platforms, the company is positioned to support customers across development, qualification and integration.
