Bits&Chips talks to ASML’s Ale Sytsma

Ale Sytsma installed the first Philips waferstepper at IBM in the United States.

Ale Sytsma is one of the last three ASML employees with a Philips background who will retire this year. He installed the first PAS 2000 waferstepper at the very first customer, IBM in Burlington (US). In this interview (in Dutch), he talks about the early days of stepper development at Philips and ASML and his adventures across the Atlantic.
