Nexperia mulls relocation to Den Bosch

Reading time: 1 minute

Nexperia is considering moving its headquarters from Nijmegen to ’s-Hertogenbosch. “We’re looking at options in Nijmegen, but also in Den Bosch,” executive Charles Smit told Brabants Dagblad (link in Dutch). The company expects to announce a decision within a year.

Advantages of ’s-Hertogenbosch include better rail connections to the densely populated western regions of the Netherlands, Smit said. He doesn’t see much added value in Nexperia’s current site, the Noviotech Campus, which is populated predominantly by companies in high tech and medical technology. “Everybody turns off the lights at five; there’s no dynamic vibe.”
