Peter Werkhoven will succeed Jos Keurentjes as the chief scientific officer at TNO. Werkhoven is a TNO veteran, having worked at the Dutch research organization for 25 years. He held several positions, the most recent one being that of corporate science director. Since 2001, he has also been working in academia. Currently, Werkhoven is a professor of multimodal interactions in virtual environments at Utrecht University. At TNO, the chief scientific officer is part of the board of directors.
