Micronit founder and CEO Ronny van ’t Oever is passing his leadership role on to Paul Schipper, who was previously employed at construction company H+H. “I’m pleased with Paul behind the wheel as our new CEO. I have full confidence that he’ll continue to drive Micronit forward,” says Van ’t Oever. He’ll remain involved with the company as chief strategy officer and major shareholder.
A spinoff from the University of Twente, Micronit specializes in the design and manufacturing of microfluidics and labs-on-a-chip, which are used to miniaturize, digitalize and automate (bio)analyses in labs and points-of-care. Founded 25 years ago as a two-man outfit, the company now employs over a hundred people and has a worldwide customer base.
