Zeiss scoops up Beyond Gravity’s litho division

9 December 2024

Reading time: 1 minute

Zeiss has completed the acquisition of the lithography division of Beyond Gravity, integrating two sites of the Swiss space equipment maker, in Zurich and Coswig (near Dresden), into Zeiss Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (SMT). The new division employs about 220 people and has a long history of manufacturing precision parts for semiconductor production equipment. It was carved out from Beyond Gravity as a semi-independent entity two years ago, ahead of a sale.
