Besi lifts sales forecast
BE Semiconductor Industries (Besi) has raised long-term financial targets from “1 billion plus plus plus” euros to 1.5-1.9 billion euros, without specifying a deadline. The hike comes after a strategic review conducted by the Duiven-based firm, which “highlighted the accelerated adoption of 2.5D and 3D chiplet-based, wafer-level assembly structures in our principal end-user markets as data volumes increase significantly while Moore’s Law slows,” CEO Richard Blickman said. This trend should drive higher demand for Besi’s advanced packaging solutions for both logic and memory applications.

It should be noted that Besi’s recent track record of making good on its promises is rather poor, having missed sales guidance for thirteen quarters in a row. The firm has no concrete target for 2025, noting that the timing of the upturn is “difficult to predict.” Its 2024 revenue came in at 607.5 million euros, a 4.9-percent increase over 2023.
