Besi sees turnaround as orders surge, eyes strong Q4
BE Semiconductor Industries is seeing “early signs of recovery,” with third-quarter orders surging 36.5 percent compared to Q2 and 15.1 percent year-on-year. The uptick, driven largely by demand from Asian subcontractors for 2.5D data center and photonics applications, marks a turning point in an otherwise subdued 2025 marked by weakness in mainstream assembly markets. Besi also saw improvement in more mainstream electronics and automotive applications.

While Q3 revenue dropped 15 percent YoY to 132.7 million euros and year-to-date revenue and income remain below 2024 levels, the company is forecasting a robust 15–25 percent revenue increase in Q4. CEO Richard Blickman highlighted “significantly improved” business prospects as momentum continues into the fourth quarter, especially in advanced packaging for AI, data center and edge applications.
