Reading time: 1 minute

Quix Quantum has launched a line of quantum photonic processors that are compatible with quantum dot light sources. Quantum dots are excellent single-photon light sources and therefore well-suited for photonic quantum computing. Quix’s existing offerings, however, operated at telecom wavelengths (around 1,550 nm). The new product line is compatible with a wavelength range in the near-infrared (900-970 nm). The details of the processor are disclosed in a scientific publication available on the Arxiv repository.
