NXP sees momentum building
NXP is seeing continued signs of recovery. “We experienced broad-based sequential improvement across all regions and end markets. Our outlook reflects the strength of our company-specific growth drivers and signs of a cyclical recovery,” comments incoming CEO Rafael Sotomayor. NXP reported a sequential 8 percent revenue increase in Q3 and is guiding another 4 percent rise in this year’s closing quarter, reflecting “a growing confidence in the company-specific growth drivers and that our new up cycle is beginning to materialize.”

All the firm’s divisions reported rising sales. Automotive, contributing over half of NXP’s revenue, saw a 6-percent sequential revenue increase and is projected to grow in the low single digits in Q4. “Content growth and normalization of inventory provide for us an optimistic view of our business in auto in 2026,” according to Sotomayor.
