The Dutch government and Invest-NL are topping up the Deep Tech Fund with 360 million euros, increasing its firepower to 610 million euros. The fund targets deep-tech companies that face long development cycles, substantial technology risks and high capital requirements.

Since its launch in 2022, the Deep Tech Fund has invested 221 million euros in Dutch technology companies, including Nearfield Instruments, Quantware, Axelera AI and Smart Photonics. It operates as an independent co-investment vehicle under Invest-NL.
