Effect Photonics is one of the winners in the Tech Tour’s Deep Tech Program 2020. The Dutch scale-up convinced a panel of venture capitalists and corporate investors that it should be included in the World Tour, in which fifty selected companies get a chance to present themselves to investors from all over the world. The World Tour will take place in March 2021.
A spinoff from Eindhoven University of Technology, Effect Photonics develops and markets tunable integrated optical transceivers for 5G and data center applications. Its first generation modules, supporting data rates up to of 10 Gb/s, are currently in field trials, while a 25 Gb/s model is being prepared for launch. A 100 Gb/s model is in development.
