Hans Schoonen takes the helm at Noviotech Campus

As of 1 April, the Noviotech Campus in Nijmegen has appointed Hans Schoonen as its new general manager. He succeeds Wald Been, who held the position on an interim basis since Bert Krikke’s exit two years ago. The new director is to lead the next development phase of the campus as a hotspot for innovation in health and high-tech.

According to the Noviotech Campus board, Schoonen has an extensive background in business, innovation and public-private collaboration. He worked for almost fourteen years at the recruitment agency Ormit Group. After leaving the company in 2021, he did subsequent one-year stints as director of international affairs at the Province of North Brabant, business unit director at the software delivery specialist Navara and commercial director at ESG service provider Kyden.
